Tässä viestissä on Sinulle lisätietoa torstaiksi 20.10. kutsutusta jäsenkokouksesta ja siitä, mitä BadU-yhdistymisessä on ja olisi tapahtumassa.

Tämä ensi torstain 20.10. kokous (klo 19:00) on luonteeltaan täysin tekninen, sillä seuran sääntöjä ei voi yhdessä kokouksessa muuttaa, vaan ne pitää hyväksyä kahdessa peräkkäisessä kokouksessa. Täten vasta jos 24.11. sääntömääräisessä syyskokouksessa uudet säännöt vielä uudelleen hyväksyttäisiin, olisimme yhtä BadU:n kanssa.

Tavoitteenamme on siten 24.11. mennessä muodostaa kaikille hyvä kuva, miten jatkaisimme yhdistyneenä seurana vuoteen 2023 – nyt olemme vielä tätä kuvaa muodostamassa, yhdessä teidän, jäsenten, kanssa.

Järjestämme torstaina ennen tätä jäsenkokousta klo 18:00 alkaen kyselytunnin siitä, mitä yhdistyminen tarkoittaa. Tähän kyselytuntiin voi osallistua joko paikan päällä tai Google Meet -etäkokouksella, jolla voi osallistua kuuntelemaan myös klo 19:00 alkavaa jäsenkokousta. Teknisistä syistä äänestäminen jäsenkokouksessa etänä ei ole mahdollista.

Olemme valmistelleet yhdistymistä silmälläpitäen oheisen sivun, jossa yhdistymisryhmä kuvaa ajatuksiaan, ajateltuja tavoitteita ja vastaa jo esitettyihin kysymyksiin. Samalla sivulla on myös linkki torstain klo 18:00 Google Meet -kokoukseen:

This message has additional information for You about the additional member meeting called for Thu 20.10., what it is about and what is happening in the project to make a union with BadU.

Thursday's meeting is all about technicality as it is not possible to change club's rules in one meeting only but requires two consecutive meetings to approve them. Thus, only if the regular autumn meeting on 24.11. will get approved we would be united with BadU.

Our target is to form a good picture to everyone by the 24.11. meeting what the union would mean for 2023 and onwards -- currently, we are still forming this picture, together with You, the club members.

We will arrange an open hour for questions on Thursday 20.10. 18:00 just before the member meeting about what the union with BadU would mean. One can participate this session either at the ESB office or by using Google Meet remote access, which can also be used to listen the member meeting starting at 19:00. Due to technical reasons, it is not possible to vote remotely in that meeting.

We have prepared the following page where the project team for the ESB+BadU union describes their thoughts, intentions and answers the questions we have received so far. The same page contains also the Google Meet link for the Thu 18:00 session:
